About Me
Haley Zuch is a multimedia artist who enjoys researching niche aspects of the internet. She enjoys implementing technology into her process while primarily operating as an oil painter. She has been painting portraits of women since she first started drawing. However has developed her specific style and technique while pursuing her BFA at the University of Cincinnati. Her recent series is investigating what it means to be an “e-girl” or a girl online. She draws on both her personal experience and the wider perception of these girls. She has always been interested in exploring how women operate on the internet. Haley has been a part of multiple local group exhibitions and is eager to be a part of more.
Enthusiastic about blending traditional fine art techniques with modern multimedia approaches, I am an artist at the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program for Fine Arts. With a desire to delve into the world of illustration, I bring a versatile skill set encompassing various media, including painting, video production, animation, digital collage, and drawing.
One of my defining features as an artist is the development of my own ethereal, pink aesthetic. This unique visual language infuses my work with otherworldly beauty and fantasy. My work incorporates natural elements rooted in reality along with a fantastical ambiance. I’m also interested in the many facets of net art and what it means to be an artist in the ever-changing environment of the internet.
I am eager to channel my passion for illustration into meaningful projects that bring characters to life through vibrant illustrations and visual storytelling; I am committed to delivering impactful artistic experiences. I thrive on pushing the boundaries of traditional art and illustration while embracing the endless possibilities of multimedia expression.
